What kind of tights/shoes does my child need to wear?

What does my child not wear?
Children should not wear jewelry, nail polish, or underwear under their tights. Jewelry is a safety hazard if they fall off on the stage. Nail polish is a distraction. Underwear can show lines and sometimes can be seen if worn under their costume.
Can my child watch the Recital if she's performing in it that night?
No. We want our Recitals to run professionally and be uninterrupted. Children must wait backstage until the Recital is over. Parents are not allowed backstage until the Recital is over unless they have volunteered to help out in the back room.
